[edit] College careerHe received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he was a member of coach Lynn Blevin and coach Buddy Alexander's Florida Gators men's golf teams from 1987 to 1990.[2] He earned honors as the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Freshman of the Year (1987), a three-time first-team All-SEC selection, and a four-time All-American.[2][3] Hart was also a member of the Gators' 1989 SEC championship team.[2] He was inducted into the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame in 2003.[4][5] |
